Live harp music sessions for nurseries and pre schools

A fun, calming and sensory live music experience designed especially for Early Years settings.

Sessions include beautiful arrangements of popular nursery rhymes and action songs, interspersed with classical interludes and interactive music games and all performed live on a 29 string harp.

Children have the opportunity to see and hear a unique instrument up close, and every child is invited to have a go on the harp themselves after the session.

Sessions are suitable for babies, toddlers and preschool children, and can be tailored to the age and size of your group.

All sessions are offered at a fixed fee of £75 and include a live performance and harp exploration session.

I also offer free online music resources that are available to families after each visit.

15 years of Early Years concerts

My experience of leading Early Years sessions includes regular performances in children’s hospital wards, including Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital, as well as in infant and primary schools and through dedicated baby and toddler concerts in community and theatre settings around the UK.

Hurst Green Infant School, Surrey

We were delighted to welcome Mark to our school to lead harp workshops for our Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children. The sessions were engaging, fun, and thoughtfully tailored to each age group. The children particularly enjoyed drawing along to the music, recognising familiar tunes, and even trying their hand at playing the harp themselves.

Fees

I offer reduced fees for nursery and preschool settings to help make these live music experiences as accessible as possible.

£75 session fee, which includes:

  • 25 minute live harp performance
  • 15 minute opportunity for children to explore the harp and have a go themselves
  • Access to free online music resources including a harp nursery rhyme album and audio collection of musical poems.

For a group of 15 children, this works out at approximately £5 per child, making it an affordable and memorable enrichment activity for young learners.
